Q: Is there a setup fee for custom packaging orders?
A: No. There are no setup fees, no plate fees, and no minimum order quantities. You will be quoted one simple price. Again, higher quantity orders do result in lower per unit prices due to efficiencies gained in printing larger quantities in a single run.
Q: How do I measure the length, width, and height of my custom packaging?
A: With the box open toward you, here is how to get the correct measurements for the inside of the box:
The length is measured from the left to right side of the box.
The width is measured from the front to the back side of the box.
The height is measured from the top to the bottom side of the box.
Q: Which parts of the packaging boxes can I customise?
A: All sides of the box are fully customisable — front, back, top, bottom, outside, and inside. The inside can be printed for an additional charge. You can customise both the outside and inside (even the flaps that tuck away or reside inside the folded box). Please work with your account representative to discuss any specific requirements.
Q: The proof for my packaging looks blurry. Will it print that way?
A: No. The emailed proofs only show how the graphics align on the packaging. The final print is much sharper, as long as vector or high-resolution graphics have been used in your design file. You will be contacted if your graphics appear to be at too low a resolution.
Q: Can you send me samples of your packaging products?
A: We can send samples of our recent print orders. Please submit a sample request and our sales representative will be in touch so that appropriate packaging samples can be sent.
Q: Is white considered a printing colour?
A: The simple answer is that it depends. White colour is typically not considered a separate colour for most orders. As white is the default colour of paper, it is simply recognized as the absence of any ink. However, when using coloured paper for particular projects, white ink may be used if any text or graphic requires it.

How Custom Packaging Drives Customer Engagement and Repeat Sales
Custom packaging development involves creating tailored solutions that align with a company's branding, product packaging requirements, and marketing goals. Unlike generic packaging, custom packaging is designed specifically to reflect brand identity. Custom packaging helps brands stand out with unique designs and enhances the customer experience by creating a memorable unboxing experience while protecting the enclosed products during transit. Additionally, attractive packaging boosts impulse buys and fosters brand loyalty leading to repeat sales.
Custom packaging has become essential for retail product businesses looking to stand out, strengthen their brand identity, and enhance customer experience. From the materials used to the design and functionality, custom-printed retail packaging allows brands to align product packaging with brand values and customer needs.
Custom Packaging Solutions for All Industries
Custom packaging caters to the unique needs of various industries by enhancing brand identity and ensuring product safety. Whether you are in the cosmetic, beverage, or general e-commerce industry, custom packaging offers an opportunity to drive sales and boost brand visibility.
- Cosmetics Packaging: Cosmetic products require premium packaging that reflects luxury and sustainability. Custom designs, including vibrant graphics, matte, gloss, soft touch or luxurious UV print finishes, and eco-friendly materials help elevate the brand experience.
- CBD Packaging: CBD packaging should adhere to strict requirements specified by various regulatory bodies. Child-resistant closures, tamper-evident seals, nutritional labeling, and minimalist designs can promote consumer trust.
- Beverage Packaging: Packaging for beverage and wellness drinks should combine durability with visual appeal while using cost-effective and eco-friendly materials to create a strong brand presence on shelves.
- E-Commerce Packaging: Custom packaging ensures safe product delivery while enhancing customer experience through branded boxes, protective inserts, and personalised touches like thank-you notes.
Common Types of Custom Product Packaging
From sustainable materials to innovative design features, each type of packaging serves a specific purpose based on the product and the target market. Below are some of the most popular types of bespoke packaging, tailored for different uses and industries, ensuring durability, functionality, and visual appeal.
- Kraft Card Product Packaging: Ideal for eco-conscious brands, sustainable kraft product packaging is biodegradable, durable, and perfect for products requiring a natural or rustic look.
- Auto-Lock Boxes: These self-locking product boxes offer a secure bottom closure without the use of any adhesives, making them perfect for heavy or fragile items, and ensuring safe delivery.
- Corrugated Boxes: Known for their strength, recycled corrugated boxes are great for shipping and storing products like beverages and other e-commerce goods.
- Product Display Packaging: Tailored for retail environments, point-of-sales display boxes are designed to showcase products attractively on shelves, driving customer engagement and boosting sales.
- Product Sleeves: Sleeve packaging wraps around products or boxes, enhancing branding with creative details like logos or product details. These sleeves are commonly used for cosmetics, food, and electronics products.
Choosing suitable materials for personalised packaging, such as compostable kraft, SBS, or recycled corrugated paperboard, enhances the product's durability and sustainability while positively impacting customer perception.
- Durability: Corrugated materials are strong and ideal for protecting fragile products like beverages and electronic devices during transit.
- Sustainability: Eco-friendly materials, such as recycled kraft paper and soy-based inks, appeal to environmentally-conscious consumers, particularly in industries like healthcare and beauty, where sustainable practices are essential.
- Customer Perception: High-quality materials like SBS (solid bleached sulfate) provide a premium feel, enhancing brand value and encouraging repeat sales.
Incorporating eco-friendly options boosts a brand's image, resonating with consumers who prioritize sustainability. This not only elevates the brand's reputation but can also drive sales.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensuring compliance with regulations is essential for industries such as food and pharmaceuticals. Packaging must meet standards set by regulatory authorities like the FDA, which governs safety and labeling for products like food and supplements. CBD and pharmaceutical packaging also require FDA-approved child-resistant packaging to meet regulatory requirements. Additionally, tamper-evident seals are crucial in guaranteeing product integrity and consumer trust, particularly in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. Incorporating these regulatory requirements into packaging helps brands avoid compliance issues and maintain consumer confidence.
